car running on highway, AC unit fanning, barefoot on the carpet, web hair, wondering what my daughter is doing at home, worried slightly if the traffic is going to be ok to go to my meeting place on the other side of the bridge, I’m sure the traffic is going to be bad in the morning, people chatting in the hallway, phone buzzing, more wechat messages, my legs are still sore, need to workout tomorrow, feel good barefoot, going to the 30 year collage reunion? what’s the purpose? need to have a good intention, deep breathing, sometimes staying in a hotel feels good, a break of routine, I like to see my plants grow faster if I left home for a week. I love my plants, it gives me pleasure to see them grow bigger, flowering, smaller, dying, some surprises are good, some are not. I miss Josh.  phone buzzing twice, I need to do an ancestral healing, for us all: me, my daughter, my parents, and my daughter’s offspring. nose itching and scratching, hair made my face itch, hair mask makes me hair feel so smooth, I’ll make my very own hair masks, hair product in general. all natural.  I sneezed twice.  nose itching,  eye itching, both of them, sniffled. door slammed (next door), nose running, more sniffles, swirling in the chair, printing the books and Reiki material, i prayed to God today: please give me good seats on the flights from San Diego to Tampa.  My numbers were bad: C and B seats.  My prayers got answered: I got the first middle seat and a window seat.  I’m grateful. I can hear my heart thumping. I stopped in the middle of the writing and prayed: god, please take my allergies away!

Exercise 8

March 21, 2016 Comments Off on Exercise 8

Do a reading of myself based on Exercise 4.

Here were my answers for exercise 4:

  • a man’s name: Josh
  • a woman’s name: Carrie
  • the name of an animal: Chewie
  • the name of a river: Meihong
  • a location: Miramar Marine Base
  • a length of time: 60 seconds
  • a food: seafood
  • a color: red
  • a weapon: a handgun
  • a cure or remedy: Reiki
  • a wish: a beach house
  • a fear: lack of money
  • a memory: my mother

Josh is my BFF, Carrie is my daughter, and Chewie is our dog.  My daughter and I just came back from a Thailand trip, and Meihong river was mentioned during.  Miramar Marine Base is my routine workout place.  I do Crossfit, so 60 seconds are often used as a measurement.  I love seafood.  I love the color Red, because it’s vibrant!  Josh mentioned a few days ago that I should buy a handgun for self protection.  I believe in the power of Reiki.  I will have a beach house soon.  Lack of money in the future is my strongest fear; therefore, I work hard and don’t spend recklessly.  I have been thinking about my mother frequently in the past month.  She died 30 years ago.

Exercise 7

March 18, 2016 Comments Off on Exercise 7

Criteria of a good question: specific, simple, directly relevant.

This exercise is to revise the 3 questions in Exercise 2, based on the criteria.

Original: (1) should I continue searching for an ideal partner who is “me” ready or try to have a better relationship with the current partner?

Revised: should I make more effort to improve my current relationship?

Original: (2) I believe I was born a healer, but I’m not sure which direction I should go in terms of making a living.  Should I make healing a business or another business to support healing? or both?

Revised: Should I make healing a business or a hobby?

Original: (3) my daughter is recovering from a spiritual crisis triggered by childhood trauma. She has been recovering with surprising speed.  However, it seems she is still not ready for life.  When would be the right time to push her? I don’t want to create more huddle in her path.

Revised: should I make her go to work to support herself?

Intuition in Action

March 18, 2016 Comments Off on Intuition in Action

For work, I went to meet a manager of this company.  His name is Mark.  We shook hands and he handed me his card.  Right at this moment when I was reading his business card, I thought “he might have worked for our agency before”  – a fleeting thought.

Once we all sat down with 3 other people and 2 telecon-ed in, Mark suggested that we should go around the table to have a self-introduction.  He started first.  “I worked for your agency for 11 years, and I left it about 20 years old…”

Interestingly, I didn’t have that “just downed on me” moment.  I realized this when I was driving back.  I literally hit my forehead with my palm! gosh, I knew it! Intuition in action!
